What we use Polycom for

These are the device categories where Polycom is our default recommendation.

  • Speaker Phone
  • Conference Camera
  • Tabletop Microphone

Current Poly Lineup

Polycom now ships as HP Poly, and the Studio range has replaced the older Polycom room codecs. The audio engineering that made the name is still what these are chosen for — DirectorAI framing sits on top of it.

  • Poly Studio X32

    • All-in-one bar for small rooms
    • Runs the conferencing service in built-in apps, no room PC
    • Pairs with a TC8 or TC10 touch controller
  • Poly Studio X52

    • All-in-one bar for medium rooms
    • DirectorAI framing and speaker tracking
    • Appliance mode for the major cloud services
  • Poly Studio X72

    • Large rooms and boardrooms
    • Dual 4K cameras for wide tables and horseshoe layouts
    • Takes an E60 or E70 as an additional camera angle
  • Poly Studio E70

    • Dual 20MP 4K camera for large and difficult rooms
    • DirectorAI tracking across the full width of the room
    • Adds a camera position to an X-series or G7500 system
  • Poly Studio A2 Table Microphone

    • Four-element multi-directional pickup on the table
    • Extends coverage where a bar alone cannot reach the far seats
    • Bridges through the Studio A2 audio bridge, up to 32 channels

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you supply this brand's full range?

We can source the full catalogue, and we stock and standardise on the models that hold up in real installations. If a product is listed on this site, we have specified it before and will support it after install.

If you have a specific model in mind that isn't listed, ask — sourcing it is usually straightforward.

Can you mix this brand with hardware we already own?

Yes. We design platform-agnostic systems, and most of our work involves adding to an estate rather than replacing one.

During the site visit we audit what is already installed, confirm compatibility with the control platform and conferencing service you use, and design the additions around it. Where something genuinely will not interoperate we say so before you buy it.

Is the hardware certified for Microsoft Teams, Zoom or Google Meet?

Certification varies by model rather than by brand, so we confirm it per room rather than in general.

Tell us which platform your organisation runs and we will only specify hardware certified for it — including the touch controller and room scheduling behaviour, which is where uncertified kit usually shows its limits.

What warranty and support comes with it?

Every product carries its manufacturer warranty, and we handle the claim on your behalf rather than sending you to the vendor.

On top of that we offer ongoing support: remote diagnostics, firmware and configuration management, and on-site response. The specific terms depend on the system, so they are set out in your quote.

Can we see it working before we commit?

Yes. Depending on the product we can arrange a demonstration, a manufacturer briefing, or a trial install in one of your own rooms.

For larger deployments we usually recommend piloting a single room first, confirming it against how your teams actually meet, then rolling out the validated design.
